Sled Dog Training

Sled dogs are amazing animals, capable of unbelievable feats of endurance and strength!  But it doesn’t all just happen naturally…it takes training!  So how do mushers get their dogs ready to run with such extreme grace?  What role does the environment play in training- topography, climate?  What principals from human athletics can be applied to training canines?  How do we know if our training has been successful?  Come explore with us as we try to answer these questions.  Take an inside look at our current training plan and how we have adapted it from previous years experiences.
