What's Been Happening?

Tagged:

Whew!  It's been a busy few months here at KEA.  We have seen incredible growth over the last few years and it seems we have reached a tipping point where we were maxed out through most of January, February, March, and April.  All of which is very exciting to us because sharing about sled dogs and our lives with them is most definitely a passion of ours, as well as providing quality programming. Which is why this type of feedback from Loudoun County Public School is so important to us:

Student Work“I just wanted to let you know that our connections with you were incredible! I have received numerous emails from parents on how much their child enjoyed learning about Alaska and why people mush in Alaska. The education program has brought our students at another level that they can share similarities and differences between the two states. Just to be able to ask questions and travel in a dog sled really brought meaning to our students.
As the slide show of photos was being played for one of our first grade classes, a student whispered over to her teacher and said, "I am so excited about this, I just want to cry."
Thank you very much for your program. We cannot wait to connect with you next year and hopefully have other grades enroll in other events that you offer.”

We take this as one sure sign we are doing our job the right way!

To make sure we can continue to provide this quality service we are making a few changes for next year.  Be sure to read about them below.

What's coming up this month?

With May on its way what very cool special event do we have lined up for you?  Survive!  Typically an on-demand program we have revved it up to Special Event status with some major twists- including an after-event online role playing bonanza and a super charged multi-point curriculum that will have your students working hand in hand with kids from around the country to save our survivor!
