Task |
| Your task is to determine what are the patterns (if they do exist), what is causing the patterns and whether or not we need to be concerned. |
A once reputable and respectable scientist of the North claims that she sees patterns everywhere. She has become obsessed with her theory and many people believe she has become mad (crazy, loony, off her rocker, lost a few marbles). She believes that people are trying to put her in a sanitarium and so she is looking to anyone that will help her to prove her theory. She was struck by an idea one day that school children could help her, but upon entering a school she saw yet another pattern, grumpy teachers and tired students. She decided to ask for help in proving her theory, while at the same time helping those students to understand the pattern of grumpy teachers and sleepy students. If these crazy patterns do exist, what is the cause of all these crazy patterns?
It all began with the sightings of unusual events have been happening in the North and, of course, we need your help in finding out the cause of all these wild changes. What are the wild and crazy things happening you say, well... |

| The plants are changing colors, loosing their leaves, and appear to be dying. |
 | Animals are changing, disappearing, no longer present, or some are dying. |

| Teachers are irritable, have extreme fatigue and difficulty sleeping. |

| Many older students cannot arrive on time to school and they can often be found sleeping in their morning classes. |
| Why are so many changes happening? Is this somehting that just started or is their a pattern or rhythm we have never noticed? Or is there some set of global changes that are now affecting all living things? Or worse, could their be a new virus so virulent that it is causing damage and destruction to all living things? |
