Race Ready: Iditarod Race Analysis
Calling all race fans! It is that time of year again... The infamous Iditarod Sled Dog Race is just around the corner and people all over the world will be hanging on the edge of their seats as they listen to the radio, watch the television and follow along on the web as mushers race their 16 energized sled dogs 1049 miles across the wilds of Alaska!
But how do you know who is really winning? Who is doing well? Who isn't! It is not always the team in the front!
Join us for this special Videoconference event as we share what we look for, and how we look for it, when following the race! Don't be suprised! It all about math and statistics!
How fast and far are they traveling? How long are they resting? What data should you be watching? How do you interpret it? And, what data can you ignore? We'll answer all these questions and more... Plus give you a GREAT realworld application for learning about fractions, ratios, and rate calculations!
