Updates, and such...

Thank you readers for your patience as I moved and updated the blog. As I am sure you can tell we still have some more changes to make, but I am finally getting back to writing again.

AsI pondered this morning the topic I would write on, my mind began to wonder, much as my writing does, and I began to wonder if there was a certain format that really well composed blogs were written in, or was it more of a sort of cathartic spilling of words that were somewhat shapedby a meaning or idea.

SO, I of course did the obvious, I went to the internet to see what I could find. Right off the bat I discovered The Copyblogger's blog with a posting about the 5 Essential Elements of an Influential Blog. So, like I always wonder, is this a junky site, or worthy of its word? (If you have not checked out Alan November's site about verifying websites). So afer looking around a bit, I feel pretty good about this gentleman and read further to see what he has to say.

Indeed, the content is thoughtful and high quality. (in fact it references a really good Time article about Stickyness from the Heath Borthers. )

So breifly I looked through the 5 essential elements to see how well I blogged:

1. Simple
2. Unexpected
3. Concrete
4. Credible
5. Story

But in the end, whatI think the author was getting at, even more so than anything else, is that Content is King. If you do not have anything important to say, it does not matter how you say it.
